How To Connect With Your Spouse During The Holidays

Well it looks like many of you are homeschooling this season! Maybe you’re being forced to do home learning because of co-vid or you’re choosing to homeschool for the first time. Maybe you’ve even homeschooled all along.

I homeschooled for about 25 years and that was the best season of our lives. There are so many positive things about homeschooling.  I want to share some things I’ve learned through our family’s homeschooling experience. I believe every parent should homeschool for a season. I think it’s one of the most valuable things you can do for your child.

We usually get the sloppy seconds of our kids when they’re away performing and putting their best energy into their time at school and when you get to spend time with them after they get home, you’re not getting the best version of your kid. Homeschooling gives us the opportunity to see every aspect of our kids and God has equipped and empowered us to experience all of those aspects of our kids.

Today we want to talk about the positive parts of homeschooling and then get into the practical questions so many parents have asked us about homeschooling.

Below are some things we cover in this episode:

  • Homeschooling with multiples
  • Incorporating technology
  • Different tools to use
  • Curriculum
  • Incorporating the Bible
  • Co-ops
  • Creating a homeschool environment that doesn’t take over the house
  • Setting goals
  • How to discipline
  • How to have grace for your kids & yourself
  • Socializing opportunities
  • And so much more!

We’ve also created a really helpful homeschool guide that covers all of the homeschooling FAQ’s in more depth. We hope you check it out!
