Make a fort! The bigger the better! Use as many available blankets that you have. Gather the chairs and place them strategically so they hold the blankets. You can use mops as tent poles to support middle sections.

Make an entrance and a have secret password. Eat a snack, read stories, play a game in the fort.

Guaranteed fun, laughter and great memories will be had by all.

Side note: Include everyone in the clean-up…those who play together-work together.

Kingdom Connection: While inside the tent share how God is a lot like the blankets of the fort. He is our fortress and our protection. Also share the story in Exodus of when God met with Moses in a tent and filled Moses up with what he needed to lead the people. God wants to meet with us too so he can fill us up with his love, kindness, obedience, joy.

Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, far off from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting, which was outside the camp. Exodus 33:7
