The Olympics, in a lot of ways, is like family. At the core (or heart), you have athletes who are dedicated, steadfast, and talented. They are showing off their talents on the world stage and everyone is watching.
The best part about the 2024 Olympics was watching someone win and immediately run to their loved ones to celebrate. The tearful embrace pierced the tv screens and enamored people all over the world.
We all kinda want what those Olympians have.... Victory. Family. Joy at the end of a struggle. The enemy can’t take that away from us, but he will try and distract us.
In a lot of ways, the Olympics are a physical picture of what God wants to do with your family. He has victory and joy waiting – but investment is crucial. Those athletes didn’t wake up the week before and decided to win a gold medal. They gave everything (FOR YEARS) to be the best. Their best won them a gold medal and the joy of victory.
