How do we create strong marriages in our home? We will give you three words.
Forgive – in a marriage we must forgive every time. Forgiveness opens the relationship and allows restoration to happen.
Serve – We can follow the example of Jesus by taking on the role of a servant in our marriage. Laying our lives down in every area for our spouse.
Appreciate – we need to appreciate our spouse instead of trying to improve them. Appreciate means “raise in value.” By using our words to speak value into our spouse we help them see who they were created to be.
By implementing these three concepts into your marriage you will start to establish stability in your marriage therefore establishing stability in your family and in your kids' lives. When the world feels shaky, the best thing we can do for our family is to work and seek to create stability within our marriage.
