Celebration is simple, biblical, and powerful!

We recently released our 250^th podcast episode and it felt like a cause for celebration – so that’s exactly what we did! We talked about the significance of celebration in episode #250. If your family needs a boost, celebration is one of the best things you can do!  

Here are 3 truths about celebration:

1. It is simple. It doesn’t have to take a lot of $$, time, or effort. Throw an extravagant birthday party with a fun theme, party favors, and a house full of guests. But celebration can also be taking the whole family to one of your kid’s sporting events and getting ice cream after. Choose to celebrate and make it simple!  

2. It is biblical. In the podcast, Don unpacked how in the Old Testament God commanded the Israelites to celebrate multiple times a year. It was a healthy rhythm God put in place to create unity AND help His people remember His goodness.  

3. It is powerful. Celebration is rooted in honor. When we take time to honor the people in our family – we breathe identity and hope into them. What does this create? JOY!
