From Our House to Yours

Have you ever seen our Crazy Cool Family House?

If you have never seen it – or if it’s been a while – take a close look at it. We
think this house gives you all the essential concepts you need to win at family.
We first published the CCF House in our book Crazy Cool Family. It’s a fun
read. Our kids jump in throughout the book as we explain the House and tell
our story through it.

From Our House to Yours

Then a couple of years ago, we took the teaching of the CCF House to a whole
new level with the creation of two guides – Building Family Relationships and
Creating Family Culture.

We love our guides, and you will too! In each session, we take a section of the
House and walk you through it step-by-step. You have places to process with
the Lord, think about your parenting and family direction, and learn key
concepts to build your confidence as a parent.

With the introduction of The Playbook, every month we will highlight one
session of our guides and certain Daily Practice emails will talk about some
of the things in that session.

Here’s the cool part: If you do just one session a month – a session only takes
30-45 minutes – you will learn the entire CCF House in a year!

The May highlight is Building Family Relationships Session One. The session in
our Introductory session and goes over – you guessed it – our Crazy Cool
Family House.

You can pick up a copy of the guides today. Get ready to change your house
by interacting with us!

  • He Sees Us

For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths. Proverbs 5:21 When we read this verse, it’s easy to picture God as a stern father—watching our every move, ready to correct us the moment we step out of line. We imagine Him “examining” our paths like a teacher…

  • The Art of the Pause

When you are talking to your spouse or your children, how long after they finish speaking do you pause before you speak?  (If you interrupt them, think of that as a negative pause.) The pause in conversations with family members has so many benefits!  Let’s review just a few here: The pause helps the other…

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” 1 Timothy 4:7-8 NIV Paul tells us to train ourselves to be…
