How are You Handling it All?

Listen to Audio

How do we handle it all as parents? The meals, the late-night sports, taking the kids to school, the dishes, the laundry, our marriages... not to mention if you work full-time then you’re doing all this within the few short hours you have in the evening.

Even if you have all the resources in the world and all the best systems set into place there are still moments where you drop the ball. As parents it is common to feel like we are constantly missing the mark either in our homes or with our kids.

We have good news for you parents, and it can be found in the word of God.

In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul quotes Jesus who said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” God is perfect in every way, giving Him the power to make up for any weaknesses we have.

You know what that means?

That means that when you fail, the Lord can display His power perfectly in you.

Next time you drop the ball, or your systems fail, instead of going straight to discouragement in your heart, just thank the Lord that HIS power is at work in your family. Rely on Him. Lean into Him.
