Do you dream about your family? What are your dreams for your marriage? What are your dreams for your kids? Do you know your family’s dreams for their lives?
Psalm 126:-1-2 says, “When the Lord restores the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, out tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for them.’”
Wow! So many great things we see here.
If you are not dreaming, ask yourself, “Why?” Are you overcome with sorrow or busyness or pain or strife? Do you not feel worthy to dream?
Dream with God about your family. If you are having trouble dreaming, start small. Maybe dream God will help you not be angry or bitter. Maybe dream today your kids will clean their room without a fight. Dreaming is like a muscle that needs to be exercised to get stronger. Maybe your dream muscle has not been exercised in a while.
The Psalm promises us dreaming will bring laughter and joy into our home. Do you believe that? Dream about it and see where your dreams with God will take you.
