Parents are known for being nags – there is a tone of voice we use to get our kids to obey, move, or just do what we want.
Can you relate? No one wants to be a nagging parent but often it is our default.
Here are a few ways you can eliminate nagging from your parenting tool belt:
Critical parents nag. Encouraging parents inspire.
At the end of the day- you decide what kind of parent you want to be. When we pursue God, we learn His ways, His perspective, and His Father’s heart for ALL kids (especially ours).
We invite you to change your thinking when it comes to nagging. You can choose to be encouraging – so do it! Call out who your kids are, instead of who they are not.
Invite God into the hard moments when you want to nag. It is possible to get your kids to obey without nagging. God will show you the way. When we invite God in, we receive HIS perspective and wisdom.
