The Power of Love

The Power of Love

“At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

The Power of Love

Matthew 24:10-13

Jesus spoke these words over 2,000 years ago but His words ring true today. So many people are turning away from their faith. False prophets everywhere promote such evil agendas.

Jesus tells us what happens when wickedness increases. It makes love grow cold.

Our answer? Bring love. Let our love burn instead of growing cold.

  • Bring love into our marriage.
  • Bring love into our relationship with our kids.
  • Bring love into our friendships.
  • Bring love into our workplaces.
  • Our ball teams. Our school events.
  • Our extended families.

God’s love is like a burning fire. It literally burns away the wickedness of the world. As we love, we bring hope, faith, and compassion into a world of fear, anxiousness, and hate. Our love, especially in our family, will strengthen our spouse and our children to fight the wickedness of the world instead of letting wickedness make our hearts cold.

Has your love grown cold?

Just tell God, “I receive your love – your wonderful, unconditional love for me. I am your child, fully loved by you with nothing held back.”

Then let His love fill your heart and take that love into the world and conquer wickedness!

What is culture? It is a way of thinking or working that exists in a place or organization. Better question: What is the culture in your home? Culture is how your home feels. Maybe a better way to understand culture is not to think about your family, but to think about other families in your…

For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths. Proverbs 5:21 When we read this verse, it’s easy to picture God as a stern father—watching our every move, ready to correct us the moment we step out of line. We imagine Him “examining” our paths like a teacher…
